Synopsis
LEGO Batman: The Movie — DC Super Heroes Unite (2013) is an animated family film directed by Jon Burton that you can watch online on iFILM. It was the first feature-length LEGO Batman production, spun out of the DC Super Heroes video game, and it delivers exactly what the title promises: Gotham in plastic bricks, a self-important Dark Knight and villains who treat crime as a hobby.
The Joker crashes a Citizen of the Year ceremony with Riddler, Catwoman and Two-Face in tow. That alone Batman could handle. The real problem is Lex Luthor, who smuggled in the Deconstructor — a weapon that can dissolve any LEGO object — and has ambitions well beyond Gotham. Batman and Robin are going to need the whole Justice League: Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and the rest.
The film has the right instinct for the format. Kids get nonstop action; adults get jokes aimed squarely at DC mythology. At 71 minutes it never outstays its welcome. Stream LEGO Batman: The Movie (2013) online on iFILM.
