This run travels further than before. Namibia's parched savanna and the predator-filled shallows of Andros in the Bahamas. Crocodiles and punishing heat in Cambodia, freezing nights in Nicaragua, storms tearing through Argentina's Yungas forest. Then a Dominica beach, the icy Himalayan foothills of northern India, the swampy jungles of southern Nicaragua, Botswana's blistering sun, and the dunes of northern Brazil. The kit never changes: a couple of items between them, maybe a machete and a roll of duct tape, nothing else.
A pattern hardens across the season — one partner gets pulled out for dehydration, infection, or heatstroke while the other finishes the clock alone. It's a Discovery format built on the real physiology of hunger and exhaustion, no studio safety net. Longer than the earlier seasons, it shows best how people shift under pressure.
