Synopsis

Beneath the glamour, everything is cracking. Patriarch Kamal (Anil Kapoor) is quietly going broke and has long stopped truly speaking to his wife Neelam (Shefali Shah). Daughter Ayesha (Priyanka Chopra) runs a thriving company, yet at home she is treated as nothing more than someone's wife. Son Kabir (Ranveer Singh) has no wish to inherit the business and falls for a dancer working the ship. Ten days at sea, with nowhere to escape, drag every buried grievance into the open.
Akhtar films the super-rich with warmth and a sharp eye, never quite letting them off the hook for their gilded cages. The cheekiest touch of all: the entire story is narrated by the family dog, Pluto, voiced by Aamir Khan.
