Synopsis
Phantom Lady (1944) is a classic film noir you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Robert Siodmak. After a fight with his wife, engineer Scott Henderson spends an evening with a stranger he meets at a bar — no names exchanged, just a Broadway show and a peculiar hat.
He comes home to find police and his wife strangled with his own necktie. His only alibi is that nameless woman, and every witness swears she was never there. With the execution date closing in, it's his devoted secretary Carol — played by Ella Raines — who goes hunting for the phantom, walking straight into danger the police won't touch.
