Synopsis
The Face Reader (관상, 2013) is a Korean historical drama you can watch online on iFILM. An impoverished nobleman named Nae-kyung can read a person's fate and true nature from their face, and that rare gift pulls him straight into the royal court of the Joseon era.
Vice-premier Kim Jong-seo takes him under his wing, and the face reader ends up wedged between two opposing forces. On one side stands a general loyal to the throne; on the other, the ambitious Prince Suyang, quietly plotting to seize the crown from a child king. Nae-kyung can spot disaster on a courtier's face before it strikes, but knowing the truth inside a viper's nest of palace intrigue is deadlier than any blade. Song Kang-ho leads as the reader, with Lee Jung-jae as the scheming prince, directed by Han Jae-rim.
