Confidential Assignment

Confidential Assignment (공조, 2017) is a South Korean action movie you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Kim Sung-hoon, it pairs a North Korean special agent with a Seoul detective for the first joint operation in the two Koreas' history, and neither man is happy about it.

Lim Chul-ryung, played by Hyun Bin, crosses south chasing a gang of rogue ex-soldiers who stole engraving plates for printing perfect counterfeit dollars. Seoul agrees to help but saddles him with Kang Jin-tae, an ordinary family-man cop played by Yoo Hae-jin, whose real job is to babysit the visitor and keep him away from anything that matters. The ice-cold operative and the chatty, overworked detective grind on each other through shootouts, car chases and awkward dinners in a cramped apartment. For Lim, the hunt for the gang's leader is also a private score to settle.
