Synopsis
Top Cat (1961) is the classic Hanna-Barbera animated series you can watch online on iFILM. T.C. — short for Top Cat — runs a gang of alley cats in a New York City back lane, dreaming up get-rich schemes and generally making life difficult for Officer Dibble, the beat cop whose beat happens to include their garbage-can headquarters.
The ensemble is what makes it tick: Choo-Choo, Brain, Fancy-Fancy, Benny the Ball, and Spook each have just enough personality to carry their own gags, while T.C. holds the operation together through sheer charisma and flexible ethics. Dibble, despite everything, keeps coming back — he needs T.C. as much as T.C. needs someone to outsmart.
