The Divine Fury

The Divine Fury (사자, 2019) is a South Korean supernatural action film you can watch online on iFILM. Yong-hu lost his father — a devout police officer — when he was a child, and he has carried that grievance against God ever since. By his twenties he's a champion mixed martial artist who settles things with his fists. Then a stigmata wound opens on his right palm, and the nights start bringing visitors he can't fight his way out of.

Chasing answers, Yong-hu finds Father Ahn, a priest with long experience of things that don't behave by ordinary rules. Park Seo-joon and Ahn Sung-ki play off each other well — the believer and the skeptic, each needing what the other has, both heading toward the same confrontation with something far above their weight class. Woo Do-hwan co-stars as the human face of whatever is pulling strings from the dark.
