Synopsis
You Shall Not Sleep (No dormirás, 2018) is a Spanish-Argentine horror film by Gustavo Hernández, free to watch online on iFILM. A theatre troupe rehearses inside an abandoned psychiatric hospital and runs an experiment on itself: stay awake as long as humanly possible.
The longer the actors go without sleep, the thinner the wall between reality and hallucination — and the louder the building's old secrets get. Bianca, a promising young actress, joins the cast to fight for the lead and instead collides with a force dragging the whole group toward disaster. Eva De Dominici plays Bianca, with Belén Rueda — the star of The Orphanage — as the project's ruthless director.
Hernández made The Silent House, shot to look like one unbroken take, and he leans the same way here: dread over jump scares, sleep deprivation as a slow slide into madness.
