Percy (2020) is a fact-based drama you can watch online on iFILM. Christopher Walken plays Percy Schmeiser, an aging Saskatchewan farmer who has worked the same prairie fields his whole life.

When a patented, genetically modified canola turns up in his crop, an agrochemical giant takes him to court, accusing the old man of stealing its technology. Percy insists the seed blew in on the wind and refuses to settle. A young lawyer (Zach Braff) and an activist (Christina Ricci) line up behind him, and one farmer's stubbornness ends up before the Supreme Court.

Director Clark Johnson keeps it quiet and human — the story of a man who never wanted to be a symbol and became one anyway, a rallying point for farmers worldwide fighting patents on living things.
