Synopsis
Double, Double, Toil and Trouble (1993) is a family Halloween fantasy-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Twin sisters Kelly and Lynn discover their parents are about to lose the house, and the trouble traces back to one person: their nasty aunt Agatha, who turned witch years ago after finding a magic moonstone. The girls set out to steal it back before midnight.
The twins are played by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen at the height of their child-star years. Cloris Leachman takes the dual role of the wicked aunt and her kindly sister, and she's the reason the film rises above standard kid fare — she clearly relishes the villainy. Expect enchanted mirrors, a talking cat and a race against the clock. It's gentle, cozy stuff, made for a family night in front of the TV, especially around Halloween.
