Then the Isle of Man police call: a murder suspect will only talk to Detective Mindhorn, whom he believes to be a real person. Thorncroft pulls on the old costume, flies back to the island, and tries to pass himself off as the character he played thirty years ago — while the case turns out to be genuinely dangerous. The cast includes Steve Coogan, Essie Davis, and Andrea Riseborough; Barratt co-wrote the script with Simon Farnaby.
