Synopsis

Carmen van Walraven is presumed dead. In truth she's hiding out in Canada under a new name and a quiet job, until one evening undoes everything: defending a coworker from an assault, she kills the man. Arrest, extradition, back to the Netherlands — and grown children who spent years believing their mother was gone. The past comes calling with old debts, and someone wants the account settled for good.
Monic Hendrickx plays Carmen with the cold exhaustion of a woman who is tired of running. The original Penoza series inspired the American remake Red Widow, and this film closes a story that began back in 2010. It's built for the people who followed the saga all the way to the end.
