Instinct

Instinct (2019) is a Dutch psychological thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Halina Reijn. Carice van Houten plays Nicoline, a criminal psychologist who takes on a new case at a correctional facility: Idris, convicted of multiple serious sex offences, is up for release after five years of model behaviour.

Nicoline votes no. Idris, played by Marwan Kenzari, responds not with hostility but with charm — precise, calibrated, and impossible to dismiss. Their sessions become a slow-motion game where the rules keep shifting. She is supposed to be reading him. It starts to feel like the reverse.
