Synopsis
Modalità aereo (2019) is an Italian comedy directed by Fausto Brizzi — watch online on iFILM. Diego is a wealthy, thoroughly self-satisfied entrepreneur who treats everyone around him like furniture. Then he leaves his smartphone in an airport bathroom. The phone holds his entire life: social accounts, credit cards, every contact he has.
The man who finds it — Peppe — could not be more different. Played by the comic duo Lillo and Paolo Ruffini, alongside Violante Placido, the film uses that one misplaced device to crash two opposite worlds together. It is a breezy, sharply observed dig at tech dependence wrapped in classic Italian comedy timing.
