Rollercoaster

Rollercoaster (1977) is an American disaster thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director James Goldstone lined up a heavyweight cast: George Segal, Richard Widmark, Henry Fonda and a young Timothy Bottoms.

A soft-spoken young bomber is working his way through America's amusement parks, planting homemade explosives under coaster tracks and demanding a million dollars from the park owners to make him stop. The job of catching him falls to safety inspector Harry Calder, an ordinary man with no gun and no training, whom the bomber deliberately drags into a personal game of cat and mouse. The FBI trails behind, always a step too late.

The picture landed at the height of the 1970s disaster cycle and became a signature entry, screened in Sensurround so the low-frequency rumble shook the seats in the theater.
