Synopsis

Comedy actress Candy Black lives for whiskey, tantrums and brawls with the paparazzi. Ordered to spend a year in court-mandated rehab, she sends her on-set stand-in in her place — quiet, eager, easy to overlook. The woman agrees with a smile, then quietly helps herself to Candy's career, her house and her boyfriend.
Babbit aims for sharp satire about celebrity, and the two-hander lets Barrymore play both the diva and the doormat who turns out to be the dangerous one. With T.J.
