Synopsis
In the Shadow of Iris (Iris, 2016) is a French-Belgian thriller you can watch online on iFILM. A wealthy banker's wife vanishes one day. A ransom call follows — along with a warning to stay quiet. He goes to the police anyway, and the case opens into something far stranger than a straightforward kidnapping.
Director Jalil Lespert also appears on screen as the banker, with Romain Duris as the detective piecing things together and Charlotte Le Bon as the unsettling stranger at the centre of it all. Camille Cottin rounds out the core cast. The story is set against a milieu of fetish clubs and concealed identities, where each layer of deception contradicts the last.
