Foxter and Max

Foxter and Max (2019) is a Ukrainian family adventure from director Anatoliy Mateshko, and you can watch online on iFILM. Twelve-year-old Max runs away from home and hides under a bridge. There he finds an abandoned can of nano-paint and, with nothing better to do, sprays a dog onto the concrete wall.

The drawing comes to life. Out of the graffiti steps Foxter — a talking nanorobot dog, clever and packed with superpowers. The fun is short-lived: a ruthless criminal wants that technology and will do anything to grab it. Max and his brand-new sidekick are swept into a chase full of stunts and narrow escapes, and somewhere along the way a lonely kid finally finds people who truly need him.
