Ghost Dad

Ghost Dad (1990) is a family fantasy-comedy directed by Sidney Poitier, available to watch online on iFILM. Bill Cosby plays Elliot Hopper, a widowed workaholic dad who keeps telling his three kids he'll spend time with them tomorrow — right up until tomorrow stops being an option.

A deranged cab driver sends Elliot's car off a bridge, leaving him stranded somewhere between this world and the next. He has only days to close a crucial business deal and fix things with his children. The catch: he's invisible during daylight hours and can walk through walls, which turns out to be both useful and deeply inconvenient. His kids — left to improvise — find that ghost-dad is more present than working-dad ever was.
