Synopsis
After Death (1990) is an Italian zombie horror you can watch online on iFILM. It comes from Claudio Fragasso, the genre journeyman behind Zombi 3 and the cult disaster Troll 2, working here in full splatter mode.
The setup is bluntly direct: a voodoo curse cracks open a gateway to hell on a remote island, and the dead climb out hungry for the living. Years later a woman whose parents died there returns to the island — and wakes the thing that should have stayed buried. From there it's jungle, a handful of armed mercenaries, and wave after wave of the undead.
This is late-'80s Italian gore exactly as advertised: latex makeup, geysers of blood, a humming synth score and plot logic shoved aside for the pure ride. Don't come looking for subtlety — take it as a midnight exploitation flick for genre diehards. Stream After Death online on iFILM.
