Synopsis
The Communion Girl (La niña de la comunión, 2023) is a Spanish horror film directed by Víctor García that you can watch online on iFILM. May, 1987: a group of teenagers drives home from a nightclub and finds a small girl standing alone on the road, clutching a doll, dressed in an antique first-communion gown.
Sara is the newcomer in the group — she doesn't know the local ghost story yet. Her friend Rebe does. Neither choice they make that night is the right one. From that moment, both girls spiral into something the film keeps deliberately quiet and close: no thunderous score, no jump-cut overload, just dread that builds through reflections, locked rooms and things that shouldn't be where they are. Carla Campra carries the film with a stillness that makes the horror land harder.
