Crows Explode

Crows Explode (クローズ EXPLODE, 2014) is a Japanese action film from director Toshiaki Toyoda that you can watch online on iFILM. A month after the legendary Genji Takiya graduates, the top spot at Suzuran All-Boys High sits empty — and the brawl to claim it kicks off.

Transfer student Kazeo Kaburagi squares off against Ryohei Kagami, while trouble brews with rival Kurosaki Industrial High. Suzuran is where the district's roughest teenagers end up, and it runs on a single rule: the strongest pulls everyone else into his orbit. What follows is fists, busted knuckles, rooftops, parking lots and full-on gang melees. Masahiro Higashide, Taichi Saotome and Yuya Yagira head up a new generation of Suzuran fighters.

This is the third entry in the Crows Zero franchise, drawn from Hiroshi Takahashi's manga; Takashi Miike directed the first two, and Toyoda keeps their rough, music-driven, almost choreographed street violence.
