Room 104 (2017) is an HBO anthology series you can watch online on iFILM. Every episode is locked inside the same drab hotel room near an airport — about the most forgettable place imaginable.

Created by brothers Mark and Jay Duplass, the show treats each episode as its own short film, with its own guests and its own genre. One night it's an anxious comedy, the next a ghost story, then a wordless dance piece, a cult-tinged thriller or a hushed family drama. Directors rotate, and so do the faces: Tony Todd, James Van Der Beek, Luke Wilson, Melonie Diaz and dozens more pass through room 104.

This is television as experiment — no running plot, just a test of how many different stories can fit inside four identical walls. It ran for several seasons, and you can drop in on any episode, since the only thread tying them together is the set.
