Synopsis
The Battle of Shaker Heights (2003) — watch online on iFILM. Kelly's dad is a recovering addict, school is a daily skirmish, and then he makes it worse by falling for Tabby (Amy Smart), his best friend Bart's older, engaged sister. At 77 minutes the film doesn't overstay. LaBeouf was still a teenager when this was shot, and it shows — not as a weakness, but as the kind of unguarded energy that's hard to manufacture once you've learned to perform.
