Synopsis
Cold Pursuit (2019) is a darkly comic crime action film you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Norway's Hans Petter Moland and led by Liam Neeson, it plays out in a snowbound resort town near the Rocky Mountains.
Nels Coxman drives a snowplow, clearing the mountain roads — a quiet, well-liked neighbor just named Citizen of the Year. His life collapses when his son turns up dead and the police write it off as an overdose. Nels knows better: a local drug lord called Viking is behind it. So he starts taking out Viking's men one by one, climbing the chain link by bloody link. The further his revenge goes, the more absurd the war becomes, dragging in a Native American crew and the cops along the way.
Moland films the killings as deadpan comedy, marking each death with a title card bearing the victim's name. Alongside Neeson are Laura Dern, Emmy Rossum and Tom Bateman. A hundred and eighteen minutes of icy noir laced with Scandinavian sarcasm. Stream Cold Pursuit (2019) online on iFILM.
