Synopsis
Chespirito: Sin querer queriendo (2025) is a Mexican miniseries about the life and career of Roberto Gómez Bolaños — watch it online on iFILM. Gómez Bolaños created El Chavo del 8 and El Chapulín Colorado, two characters embedded so deeply in Latin American television that generations grew up treating them as personal memories.
Pablo Cruz Guerrero plays the man behind those characters, tracing the road from obscure TV writer to the creator of shows broadcast simultaneously across dozens of countries. Directors Rodrigo Santos, David Ruiz, and Julián de Tavira split the series. The title borrows El Chavo's signature catchphrase — "sin querer queriendo" ("without really meaning to") — which turns out to say something true about how this particular career was built.
