Synopsis
The Nurse (Sygeplejersken, 2023) is a Danish crime miniseries you can watch online on iFILM. Pernille, a young nurse, joins the ward at Nykøbing hospital and quickly looks up to Christina, a confident veteran of the night shift. Then a pattern starts to gnaw at her: patients near Christina slip away more often than the numbers should allow.
The closer Pernille watches, the colder her suspicion grows. Christina seems to come alive during a crisis, the rescuer at the center of emergencies that erupt out of nowhere. There's no proof, the higher-ups wave it off, and doubting a respected colleague means standing alone against the whole shift. Josephine Park and Fanny Louise Bernth lead the cast under director Kasper Barfoed.
