Música (2024) is Rudy Mancuso's directorial debut, a musical rom-com you can watch online on iFILM. A young Brazilian-American in Newark hears rhythm in everything — clinking spoons, subway noise, sidewalk chatter all assemble into a tune in his head that he can't switch off.

His future is a blur: no real job, no clear path after school, but two girlfriends and a mother set on marrying him off to a "proper" Brazilian girl. Camila Mendes plays the one who finally makes him want to grow up. Between dates, family dinners and odd street gigs, he tries to figure out what he actually wants — and to quiet the music that has taken on a life of its own.

Mancuso made the film about a version of himself: he's a musician with synesthesia who grew up in Jersey's Brazilian community, and here city noise visibly turns into numbers, some with puppets, some pure street-carnival energy.
