Mrs. America (Season 1)

Mrs. America (2020) is an FX historical drama you can watch online on iFILM. It tracks the 1970s fight over the Equal Rights Amendment, a bill that came within a few states of passing. Cate Blanchett stars as Phyllis Schlafly, the Illinois housewife who rallied conservative women to kill it.

Across nine episodes the series splits its time between two camps. On one side stand Gloria Steinem (Rose Byrne), Shirley Chisholm (Uzo Aduba), Betty Friedan (Tracey Ullman) and Bella Abzug (Margo Martindale), pushing the amendment through Congress. On the other, Schlafly turns suburban kitchens into a grassroots war room. Every private slight feeds the public brawl.
