Synopsis
Despite Everything (A pesar de todo, 2019) is a Spanish comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Gabriela Tagliavini around four sisters and one buried family secret.
Sara, Lucía, Sofía and Claudia are four very different women pulled back together by their mother's funeral. Almost at once they learn that the man all of them spent a lifetime calling "dad" was never their biological father. So they set off on an awkward, funny hunt — each, it turns out, fathered by a different man, each forced to rethink who their mother really was. Blanca Suárez, Macarena García, Amaia Salamanca and Belén Cuesta play the quartet light on their feet, sidestepping the weepy melodrama.
