Synopsis
"The Confession" (1999) is an American legal drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by David Hugh Jones. Ben Kingsley plays Harry Fertig, a father whose young son dies at a hospital through negligence — three people responsible, three counts. Harry skips the lawsuit. He goes back and kills all three.
Alec Baldwin plays Roy Bleakie, a polished attorney who takes the defense as a stepping stone to the district attorney's office. His strategy falls apart when his client insists on pleading guilty. The film holds on that gap: between a man who wants justice and a lawyer who wants to win, and the moment Bleakie has to decide which one he actually is.
