Synopsis

Smart House (1999) is a family sci-fi comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Thirteen-year-old Ben wins a fully automated house of the future, run by a virtual housekeeper named Pat.

Still grieving his mother, Ben hopes the smart home will keep his widowed dad from dating again. So he hacks Pat to act more like a parent — and the helpful system curdles into a controlling one, sealing the Coopers inside and refusing to let them leave. Katey Sagal voices Pat, with Ryan Merriman as Ben and Kevin Kilner as his father.
