Synopsis

Caught between them is a parole officer, the one person who believes a man can actually change. Forest Whitaker plays the silent ex-con haunted by his past, Harvey Keitel the stubborn lawman; the cast also includes Brenda Blethyn, Luis Guzmán and Ellen Burstyn.
