Synopsis

Prosecutor Liang Wenchao, played by Chang Chen, takes the case with his detective wife. The deeper they dig, the more the suspects tangle together — a young widow, a son from a first marriage, a longtime research partner. Then the investigation runs into a technology that makes the line between living and dead far less solid than it should be.
This one runs on a slowly tightening loop of evidence rather than chases, and on a terminally ill investigator racing his own clock. Expect a cold near-future mood, neon interiors and an ending that asks you to reassemble everything you just watched. A strong pick for fans of brainy sci-fi that doubles as a crime drama.
