Synopsis

Dick Maas is back in the director's chair, returning to the world of his 1988 original — and so is Huub Stapel, who once played the cop who cracked it. His aged investigator Visser now teams with Tara, because the new killer moves exactly like the maniac he hunted before, except this adversary seems to shrug off everything human. The murky underwater dive sequences and Maas's grim streak of humor are all here. It's aimed squarely at viewers who remember the first film and want European horror with no eye on Hollywood.
