Synopsis
Ski School (1991) is a teen party comedy you can watch online on iFILM. This Canadian romp from director Damian Lee belongs to the carefree early-nineties slope movies, where the lessons come second to the partying.
Two crews collide at the resort. The rich, buttoned-up gang is there to train, win and look good doing it. Their longtime rivals, led by slacker Dave (Dean Cameron), would rather drink beer, dance the lambada and run contests like seducing a girl in a single night. The feud plays out on the runs and off them — pranks, races and plenty of flirting. Then the director announces an exam, and it turns out the fun crowd can barely ski.
There's nothing deeper going on here: it's a light comedy about snow, lowbrow gags and student goofing-off. Dean Cameron, Tom Bresnahan and Patrick Labyorteaux lean fully into the eternal-party-animal type. It's a fun pick when you want something simple and nostalgic from the video-rental era.
