Synopsis
"Voice of a Murderer" (그놈 목소리, 2007) is a Korean crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Park Jin-pyo. It reconstructs a real Seoul kidnapping from 1991: for 44 days a family waited by the phone while an unknown man demanded ransom, shifted instructions at every turn, and was never caught. The only thing investigators had on him was a tape of his voice.
News anchor Han (Seol Kyung-gu) picks up the first call shortly after his son vanishes. The abductor wants 100 million won. Detectives chase every lead; the kidnapper slips through each time. Kim Nam-joo plays the mother unraveling under the wait, Kang Dong-won the investigator who cannot close the case.
