Synopsis
Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys (2004) is a made-for-TV horror romp with a tongue-in-cheek streak, and you can watch online on iFILM. Director Ted Nicolaou crashes two of Full Moon's long-running B-movie franchises into each other. The legacy of old puppeteer Andre Toulon now rests with his great-nephew Robert.
Working from his ancestor's notes, Robert brings four of the famous marionettes back to life — Jester, Six-Shooter, Pinhead and Blade. He and his daughter Alexandra aren't the only ones who witness it. Toy mogul Erica Sharp has slipped a hidden camera into the workshop, and she wants the reanimation formula to stock shelves with a line of killer toys by Christmas Eve. Playtime ends when Toulon's wooden defenders square off against a gift-wrapped demonic army.
Corey Feldman plays the heir with a knowing wink, and the whole thing runs on its crossover hook: whose toys are nastier. The budget is small, the gore is plastic, and the tone is happily silly — this is strictly fan service for B-movie diehards and Puppet Master loyalists. A good pick if you want a goofy holiday creature feature for the night. Stream Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys (2004) online on iFILM.
