Hick

Hick (2012) is an American coming-of-age drama with a dark comic streak that you can watch online on iFILM. Thirteen-year-old Luli, stuck in rural Nebraska with two drunk parents, grabs her father's .45 and sets off hitchhiking for Las Vegas.

The road west turns out to be nothing like the escape she pictured. First a jittery drifter picks her up, then a coke-snorting grifter takes her along — and the freedom she chased keeps sliding into adult cruelty she is far too young for. Director Derick Martini adapts the novel by Andrea Portes. Chloë Grace Moretz carries the film as Luli, with Blake Lively, Eddie Redmayne, Alec Baldwin and Juliette Lewis around her.
