Synopsis
Kevin Hart: Seriously Funny (2010) is the comedian's solo stand-up special, free to watch online on iFILM. Seventy-two minutes, one stage in Cleveland, Ohio, and a performer who isn't a megastar yet but is already going full throttle.
Hart mines his own life for the set: the panic of new fatherhood, fights with his ex, a stingy dad, playground beatdowns and a running riff on being short. He swaps voices, bounces across the stage and laughs at himself before the crowd can — the rapid-fire style that, a couple of years later, would make him one of the highest-earning stand-ups around.
