Rawhead Rex

Rawhead Rex (1986) is an Irish horror feature you can watch online on iFILM, directed by George Pavlou from a Clive Barker script. A clueless farmer pries loose an ancient standing stone in the rural countryside — and frees the thing that had been buried beneath it for centuries.

The demon stalks the fields, feeding on villagers and bending the weak to its will. Howard, an American visiting with his family, finds himself the only man willing to fight back. David Dukes and Niall Tóibín lead the cast, and Barker's source story gives the carnage a strange, almost pagan mythology that most slashers of the era never bothered with.
