Synopsis
Satan's Little Helper (2005) is an American horror comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Jeff Lieberman builds a nasty Halloween tale around a kid obsessed with a video game where the goal is to help the Devil bump off passers-by.
On Halloween night young Dougie meets a silent stranger in a devil mask and assumes he's a real-life version of the game's hero. Thrilled, he tags along, never grasping that his new playmate is an actual killer and the bodies piling up aren't props. His older sister Jenna, played by Katheryn Winnick, and her boyfriend catch on far too late that something is badly wrong at home.
The whole thing runs on a queasy joke: childhood innocence as the perfect cover for a murderer. The black comedy is thicker than the gore, so it's one for viewers who like their Halloween scares with a smirk rather than a straight slasher. Stream Satan's Little Helper (2005) online on iFILM.
