Pippi on the Run

Tired of their strict parents, Tommy and Annika decide to run away from home. Luckily Pippi tags along — the strongest girl in the world, complete with a horse on the porch and a little monkey named Mr. Nilsson on her shoulder. The three set off on a long trek where grown-up rules don't apply and every scrape gets solved by Pippi's nerve and stubborn cheerfulness.

The film lives in the same world as the famous late-1960s Pippi series and rides on Nilsson, who became the face of the character for generations of kids.
