Synopsis
Castle of Blood (Danza macabra, 1964), directed by Antonio Margheriti, is an Italian Gothic horror you can watch online on iFILM. Cynical journalist Alan Foster meets Edgar Allan Poe himself at a London tavern and takes a wager: spend one night inside the abandoned Blackwood estate and survive until dawn. He walks in.
The castle is occupied. Barbara Steele leads the ghostly company as the alluring Elizabeth — her screen presence equal parts beauty and dread. Each resident carries unfinished business from beyond the grave, and as the night stretches the film never wastes a shadow.
