Synopsis
Perrier's Bounty (2009) is an Irish crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Michael owes money to a Dublin gangster, and the loan is due by nightfall. He doesn't have it. Sundown is closing in fast.
One bad night turns a debt into a body count. When Michael's neighbour kills one of Perrier's heavies in a scuffle, three misfits end up on the run together — Michael, the girl, and his estranged father, who has suddenly decided he's about to die. Cillian Murphy plays the cornered debtor, Brendan Gleeson the wayward dad, and Jim Broadbent voices Perrier as a man who'd trade your life for a cigarette. Hired guns stalk them through rain-slicked Dublin, and the laughs land black as wet tarmac.
Directed by Ian Fitzgibbon from a script by Mark O'Rowe, with Gabriel Byrne narrating from the shadows, it runs a lean 88 minutes of gallows humour, chases and absurd deaths. Think Guy Ritchie soaked in Irish drizzle. Stream Perrier's Bounty (2009) online on iFILM.
