Inseparable (Season 1)

Inseparable (Мотыльки, 2013) is a Ukrainian drama series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Vitaliy Vorobyov. It begins in Pripyat in the final days of April 1986, with two young people who have just found each other and have no idea what is about to happen a few kilometers away.

Alya is finishing school. Pasha is doing his mandatory military service. They fall hard and fast, the way you do before the world has had a chance to complicate things. What unfolds at the nearby nuclear plant reshapes the story around them, but the series keeps them at its center rather than turning the catastrophe into the main character.
