Synopsis
Windstorm: The Great Hurricane (Ostwind, 2021) is a German family adventure you can watch online on iFILM. A storm drives a traveling horse circus onto the grounds of the Kaltenbach estate — and with it comes trouble that only Ari seems to notice.
She senses that one of the circus horses, a stallion named Orcan, faces real harm from his owner. Teaming up with young Carlo and her loyal horse Ostwind, Ari sets out to spirit Orcan away. The plan is bold, but the sharp-eyed ringmaster sees through it, and soon Ostwind himself is the one trapped. The clock is running down. Director Lea Schmidbauer keeps the drama gentle, built on the bond between a child and an animal, with no cartoon villains and no syrup.
