Synopsis
Meet Wally Sparks (1997) is an American comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Stand-up veteran Rodney Dangerfield plays Wally, the host of a trashy tabloid talk show where guests inevitably lose their composure — and their dignity.
When the network threatens to cancel his show, Wally crashes the state governor's mansion looking for a headline-worthy sex scandal. Burt Reynolds plays the hapless governor, with Tony Danza and Gilbert Gottfried rounding out a cast built for broad, unapologetic slapstick. Directed by Peter Baldwin, this is the kind of film that doesn't pretend to be anything other than a vehicle for Dangerfield's particular brand of self-deprecating chaos — and that is exactly what fans of his stand-up will get.
