Synopsis
A Five Star Life (Viaggio sola, 2013) is an Italian drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Maria Sole Tognazzi. It follows Irene, a secret inspector for a chain of luxury hotels, whose whole job is to check into the world's finest resorts under a false name and quietly grade them.

That neat equilibrium cracks when Andrea — her oldest friend and former lover — suddenly stops being there for her. A stranger's remark in the haze of a steam room, "luxury is a kind of lie," knocks Irene off balance and sends her looking for something beyond perfect linens.
Margherita Buy carries the film almost alone, with Stefano Accorsi at her side. It's a quiet, distinctly European piece about the freedom of being on your own without feeling that anything is missing — no tears wrung out, no lectures.
